A user-centred, interactive cabinet designed to raise awareness of biodiversity and sustainability. The piece tells a story through touch, engaging users with natural materials to create an emotional connection and encourage reflection on the protection of ecosystems for future generations. This project highlights material-led design, sensory interaction, and educational storytelling.
Design Concept
Inspired by the sensory qualities of seed cases, the design reveals the hidden beauty of everyday natural structures through tactility, subtle pattern, and interaction.
Day and Night
The contrast between the transparent resin door and the solid wooden door highlights the interplay of light and darkness, reflecting the changing nature of life.
